Festival del Teatro at Castelmur
25 and 26 July 2025
Information on performances at the festival will be published shortly.
Theatre Course
The Festival del Teatro offers the fifth theatre and circus course for children and young adolescents.
The workshop will be led by Amalia Ruocco and Irene Raccanelli of the Italian company PaZoTeatro.
A special magic suitcase conceals the rope that opens the border between the World of Here and the World of There, where the boring rules of everyday life leave room for imagination, dreams and fantasy. A series of games and exercises stemming from the circus-theater will accompany children and young adolescents into a fanatsy, where they can discover their own personal World of There and their “borderline” between reality and imagination.
At the end of the course there will be a presentation of the work open to the public that will open the 19th edition of the Festival.
Course participants will be offered to take a small part in the performance ‘Il mondo di Là’ by the PaZo teatro company, which will be presented on Saturday 26 July at 5.30 p.m. This participation is voluntary and not binding for participation in the course. Details will be discussed during workshop hours.
The course is aimed at children and young adolescents aged 8 and above.
If there are at least 4 enrolled secondary school students, two groups will be created, one for younger and one for older children.
The COURSE will be held in the garden of Palazzo Castelmur from Monday 21 to Friday 25 July 2025, from 14.00 to 17.00 (working hours will be synchronised with the Postauto timetable).
The PRESENTATION open to the public will take place on Friday 25 July at 18.30 in the garden of Palazzo Castelmur.
The registration fee is CHF 60 (discount for siblings). Participants will receive a season ticket to watch all the festival performances.
